Scenes From My Weekend

We kicked off our weekend with a lovely dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

Saturday we slept in a bit and headed out for coffee. Low and behold there were troops outside our local Starbucks, fundraising and spreading holiday cheer!

"M" wasted no time in asking if I could hold the M-16 they had on display. To our surprise, the guys suited me up completely (one even holding my purse which Fossil tweeted out!)

As a note, please do not take this photo that I endorse the casual use of guns in any way.
This was simply a way for me to show my support for our troops.
There was no ammunition in the above pictured M-16.

After doing a bit of shopping we decorated our Christmas tree!
M is a bit more of a perfectionist than me, making sure no two bulbs were too close together.

We went for lunch at Borelli's (amazing rice balls) and then did
some shopping for the upcoming dinner we will be hosting.

Sunday we awoke early for service.

 Followed by brunch of course...

And then the movies to see the newest Redford film "All Is Lost" (I loved it!)

The rest of the evening was low-key in preparation of the upcoming week ahead.
Teas at Starbucks and quiet conversation...

What was the highlight of your weekend!?
