Trending on a Tuesday: How to Style Your Wedge Sneakers

Not usually one to immediately hop on a trend unless 1. I realize it will be a trend before it officially becomes one or 2. It truly suits my style in such a manner that makes it desirable.      

I do have to say..this Givenchy pair is a bit tempting if not wholly over the top.

Being a mere 5'6" I always find myself in a weird not tall enough to be considered tall but not short enough to achieve that "cute" short status.    A bit of hidden height is always welcomed. Comfortable height even more so. After trying a few pairs on, I wonder mainly - how I would style them.

1. Dressed down with skinny jeans (these Isabel Marants are definitely  of the most coveted pairs) the trend is apparently quite popular amongst models no?
   

2. With Liquid Leggings (though I'm not sure this would be my modus operandi.)        

3. Keep it casually femme with your top within the same color palette and a pleated skirt on the bottom. Ladies within wintery conditions? Layer on your scarves, slide on a pair of cute tights and top with an adorable beanie.      

4.  Weather allowing, keep things short and sweet, allowing your sneakers to take center-stage (after your perfectly toned calves of course!)
