By now, some of you may be aware of my predilection for tights in a variety
of fun, bright hues. My hesitation towards color seems to be near gone.
Just last week my beloved Shelly's of London flats bit the dust. The sole,
literally began flapping at the most inopportune of times.
Perhaps I should make a post on what to do when you are without a spare
pair of flats/heels as I got creative quite quickly to avoid embarrassment.
That's good that your hesitation towards colors has gone!! You look great in these tights...I've slowly started getting used to the funky tights!

Rest in peace, little flats! What did you end up doing?
ReplyDeleteThis happened to me with my favorite pair of leather sandals, when I was walking to dinner one night. So awful... I had to walk the rest of the way to the restaurant with only one shoe, and when I got there, had to ask the maitre d' for duct tape to literally tape my shoe back together..... so mortifying
Well first I made little rounds with scotch tape and tried to get them to stick that way (smart, I know) but it made a horrible squeaky noise and came undone. Then I used some heavy-duty packing tape which worked a lot better. Your story makes me feel a great deal better! Thanks Bettina :)
