Happy St. Patrick's Day!

{via}

Being a Bostonian, St. Patrick's Day means a bar crawl in Fanueil Hall, the group of us surging from one place to the next in our "unique" green tees. Possibly ending the night at a diner for sustenance after the exertion of all that drinking.

This year we did not do shirts and given that I will be in the midst of a fervent crowd, any designer duds will have to keep themselves at home.

My solution? More modest pieces I won't mind someone spilling beer on (this may seem shocking to some of you) but as a Boston girl, it's reality. Plan ahead and don't even think about wearing your Louboutins.

A few fun options that won't have you looking too over the top:

New England weather may or may not permit dresses this weekend.

I will most likely wear a variation of this.

Or mint skinnies with a darker top perhaps.

Finish with natural makeup (green eye shadow is never appropriate in my book, unless it's a bronzey olive that tends to look effortless) and an accessory by L. Erickson and you're ready.

What are your plans for this epic weekend?

Are you participating in your workplace March Madness brackets? After the fun (and luck) I had with Fantasy Football, I decided to join.

Have a wonderful, safe weekend!
