Planners: Pretensiously Decorated, Prettily Prized

My Story:

One of the most precious items in my handbag is my Moleskine page/day lined 18-Month Planner. I have always been a planner girl, beginning in high school with a black leather Coach planner before experimenting with FiloFax, Quo Vadis before becoming a faithful Moleskine fanatic.
My collection has since grown to: The Boston book, an 18month 1 page/day planner (have used the 2 page/day that has a notebook page for each day before loved it too), three XL unlined soft-cover cahier journals - one of which I use as a scrapbook and a ruled notebook I use as a list book to organize health and financial goals. I am currently using the 18 month hardcover daily.

Where To Get Inspired:

My extra-large soft cover cahier journal is used as a creative goal-based scrapbook where I can visualize the things I want in the future and also commemorate times I just cannot bear to forget.
Pages include:

  • Books to Read
  • Movies To see
  • Places to Travel
  • Recipes to Try
  • Ideas for my blog
  • Hate/love lists
  • Inspirational Quotes/Lyrics
  • Memories
  • Ticket stubs/business cards/mementos that only have meaning to me
  • Fashion Inspiration
  • DIY Diva
  • Home Décor Ideas
  • Articles on Money Management
  • Diet/Health.Wellness
  • Favorite Websites/Blogs
  • Beauty Favs (products/regimens)
  • Things I am Grateful For
  • Restaurants to Try
  • Dating/Love Lessons

I use an acid free glue, Staedtler pens, a black ball point and cut from a variety of fashion/decor/organizing magazines, Real Simple being my favorite.
If I find fun stickers, especially ones that correlate with my life or have some organizational value I snap those up as well.
